This week we have Chris Pick who not only is a Glass Explorer with v.2 Glass, but also an invitee from last week. He got invited and by the end of week got his Google Glass.
We look over Glass to see what is different. The only two major changes seems to be the addition of the earbud and the loss of the clear lens.
We talk about the store and how a replacement pair of shades is $75 and the mono bud replacement is $50. The cable charger is also $50.
Changing gears, we discuss the California driving infraction and the ticket that was posted this last week. The person was speeding and also got a fine for wearing Glass.

I also found a Glass user that has custom-made lenses made for his Glass. Justin Bregar worked with LensCrafters for the custom lenses.
“http://spectaclesfyeye.com/ is the guys who did this for me.” is what Bregar added. “I can see the prism clearly. Other than some mild distortion at very short distances (closer than typcial monitor distance) the view is perfect. I put an anti-reflective coating on this one.. getting a non polarized sunglass pair made from the clip on the sunglass screen. Been waiting quite a while to finally be able to use these day to day.. very excited to be motivated to write some glassware now!”
